31 Days of Delight; Day 21

Isaiah 55:2

"hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness." KJV

Soul is defined as a living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion

Delight make soft, pliable, live or spend in enjoyment, take exquisite delight

fatness:  abundance, passing over into figurative of spiritual blessing

"Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare." NIV

“Hey there! All who are thirsty,

    come to the water!

Are you penniless?

    Come anyway—buy and eat!

Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk.

    Buy without money—everything’s free!

Why do you spend your money on junk food,

your hard-earned cash on cotton candy?

Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best,

fill yourself with only the finest.

Pay attention, come close now,

listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words.

I’m making a lasting covenant commitment with you,

the same that I made with David: sure, solid, enduring love MSG

I like to take communion at home. I worship, I listen, I read His word where he directs me.  I'm spending intimate time with Jesus.  There is more time than when I take it at church, the timetable is mine and Holy Spirits.  Today I'm challenging you to do the same.  Any liquid will do, I usually use wine, but have used water before.  For the bread I use crackers, tortilla's or even a piece of bread. The bread and wine are symbols, props for you.  The important thing about this is your fellowship with Jesus,  you are celebrating your covenant together.

Today's Challenge: Take communion
