Have you ever played hide-n-seek?  This is one of God's favorite games, when He plays it with his children, they can always find Him. He wants to be found and we are to delight in and have pleasure playing the game with him.  He doesn't hide very well. He never lets us get too frustrated seeking him, He'll move or make a noise or shine a light, so we are sure to find Him. And when we find him, we are swept up in His arms, twirled around, tickled and kissed.  Like children we say "play again, Daddy!"  And He does, He never gets tired of the game or playing with us.

9-10 “And you, Solomon my son, get to know well your father’s God; serve him with a whole heart and eager mind, for God examines every heart and sees through every motive. If you seek him, he’ll make sure you find him, but if you abandon him, he’ll leave you for good. Look sharp now! God has chosen you to build his holy house. Be brave, determined! And do it!” MSG

“As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and minds, and understands every intent and inclination of the thoughts. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him as your first and vital necessity] He will let you find Him; but if you abandon (turn away from) Him, He will reject you forever. AMP
