31 Days of Delight; Day 31

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. NIV

Our last scripture in this series doesn't use the word delight, but to please which is a meaning of the word delight.  We have discovered that the Lord delights in us and some ways we delight him.  His delight  with us began as He created us.

We come to Him in faith-He is delighted!

He rewards us-We are delighted!

We seek Him in faith-He is delighted!

He rewards us more-We are delighted!

It becomes a circle of delight!

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. NLV

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him ESV

It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. MSG

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].AMPC

Thank you for going on this journey of delight with me.  Today's Challenge is to remind yourself daily that the Lord delights in you!
