Finding Protection from the coronavirus

Finding Protection from the coronavirus

wings, sky

Wherever you are, and everywhere you go, the coronavirus is being talked about. Fear is running rampant throughout the world, and coronavirus had been declared a global pandemic. It would appear that Satan is winning this round, when, in truth, he is not.

We need to keep in mind God always wins.  Romans 8:28. The Amplified Bible says: "And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose."

So how could something so bad like this pandemic, be used for God's plan?

One thing I believe is happening is that He wants us to build our faith in His protection. We have seen mighty results when Christians have taken a stand against natural disasters. Hurricanes, tornados, and floods all have been averted because Christians exercised their faith in God's protection. In Luke 10:19, Jesus says we possess the authority, and the ability to exercise that authority, over all the power of the enemy, Satan and nothing will in any way harm us. Now is it time for us to stand against this virus for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

Psalms 91 is a great faith builder for God's protection. It starts by telling us who will receive this protection: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High. As a person who has invited Jesus into your heart, you now dwell in the shelter of the Most High! You can be secure and at peace because no enemy can withstand the power of the Almighty. With great confidence, you can trust and rely on His complete protection. The Voice puts it this way:

 "Like a bird protecting its young, God will cover you with His feathers, will protect you under His great wings; His faithfulness will form a shield around you, a rock-solid wall to protect you. You will not dread the terrors that haunt the night, or enemy arrows that fly in the day, or the plagues that lurk in darkness, or the disasters that wreak havoc at noon. "

Verse 10 tells you that no plague will come near your dwelling-that includes the coronavirus.

The Psalm ends with God declaring:

 “Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him;
I will set him [securely] on high because he knows My name
 [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never]. “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
“With a long life I will satisfy him, and I will let him see My salvation.”

You must build up your faith for His protection against this virus because you have been commissioned by Jesus to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. If you are living in fear of catching the virus, you won't be able to fulfill that. To help you build that faith, I have personalized the 91st Psalm as a decree for you to read. Read it out loud because faith comes by hearing.  Build up your faith in His protection and healing power now so if the opportunity to lay hands on someone sick with the coronavirus comes, you will be ready.

 Dwelling under His protection and seeing the sick recover is living a delightful life!   Steve and I are praying for you.
