Abundantly Blessed so I Can Bless Abundantly

Abundantly Blessed so I Can Bless Abundantly

Abundantly Blessed Bless Abundantly

The Lord will command the blessing upon you in your storehouses and in all that you undertake, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.    Deuteronomy 28:2 & 8

We've established that our storehouses are our finances, all we undertake is our job and activities, and our land is the place that God has called us to be.  That is where the blessing is coming that will overtake us.  The word overtake means to catch up with and pass by.

Strong's Hebrew 5381: 1) to reach, overtake, take hold upon 1a) (Hiphil) 1a1) to overtake 1a2) to reach, attain to, cause to reach 1a3) to be able to secure, reach, have enough

Understanding that was hard for me to grasp, so I asked the Lord to show me what being overtaken by this blessing looks like.  What He showed me was our bag drawer.  That is where we put all the plastic bags we receive when we come home from shopping.  We started with just a few bags there, but it wasn't long before the drawer was filled to overflowing.  Even though we use them often, we still accumulate more than we use. We have to throw out some bags at times just to close the drawer.

Now imagine those bags are the blessings talked about in Deuteronomy 28.  Those blessings catch up with you and take hold of your life until you have more than enough.  He does this for two reasons.

As a witness to the world

And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee. And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord swore unto thy fathers to give thee. The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
 Deuteronomy 28:10-13

The Bible tells us we are ambassadors for Christ. We are referred to as salt and light and are His representatives on earth.   The blessings God bestows on your life show the world what it is like to live as a part of His kingdom.  They are not just blessings after we die but tangible benefits that allow us to live an abundant life here on earth.

We are witnessing a perfect example of this at our border.  Thousands of immigrants are flooding into this country because of the blessings they see upon  American citizens.  They come for the promise of a better life for themselves and their families.  They see the American way of life as better than what they are experiencing and want what we have.  They leave everything behind for the hope of a better future.

I believe what we are seeing at the border now is a picture of what will soon happen with God's kingdom.  The Billion Soul Harvest has begun, and those people are coming to cross over into God's kingdom. With the eyes of faith, we can see the caravans moving closer.  When they arrive, we believers must be in a position to care for them.  That brings me to the second reason He commands the blessing on us.

Have an Abundance So We can Give

And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.
 2 Corinthians 9:8

The blessing overtakes us so we can have abundance to give. Unlike my plastic bags, the blessings should not be collected in a drawer for our own use.  The overflow is meant for kingdom use.  Resources must be available and made ready; spiritual and financial.  It is our responsibility and honor to serve the kingdom this way.  Like everything else in the kingdom, we receive the blessing by faith.  Use the Deuteronomy 28 Blessing Decree to agree with and pull that blessing from heaven into the earth.

Those souls crossing from darkness into the light of His kingdom have had a long and difficult journey.  They will need your help to transition into the Kingdom of our Lord.  It is time to receive the commanded blessing upon your life!

Are you ready?

Imagine if your church tripled in size with new believers next week.  Think about all that would need to be done.  The building and parking area would have to increase.  There would a need for more teachers, home group hosts, door greeters, and janitors.  All of this will take money and time.  Are you in a position to give what will be needed?

Now is the time to clean out or give/throw away, refresh, fix or replace items around your living space.  Examine your finances and determine where you may be wasting your resources.  Check your schedule and embrace some new time management ideas.  Increase your time with the Lord, so you are spiritually strong.  Ask Holy Spirit what you should do to prepare.

We are living in the most exciting time, on the edge of the greatest revival in history.  God has chosen you to live at this very time because you have a part to play.  You were created to be a blessing.  The Lord has commanded the blessing upon you so you can be a blessing. It is coming on you now and will soon overtake you.  You are abundantly blessed so you can bless abundantly!

have a delightful day

It is dark here in Europe. It keeps getting darker. I don’t know if there is going to be a revival here, but this I do know, that I have to hold onto Him. "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. "

Thanks for your refreshing blogpost.
