The next part of seeing the plans God has for you take shape in your life, is to refine those dreams.  What does it look like, who is there, where is it happening.  Ask Holy Spirit to fill in the details, to make it real to you.  This is the "brooding time." God's Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.  Genesis 1:2 (MSG)

As an example, let's say your dream was a new house.  What color is it, how many rooms does it have, what does the kitchen look like, who is living there with you.  Use your imagination to live in that house.  Cook a meal, take a shower or bath, entertain friends or read a book.  It may change each time you dream about it, but you will begin to see some things are always there. Those are the things Holy Spirit wants you to grab a hold of.

Maybe, the first time you sit with Holy Spirit, you see a big blue house on a corner with a red door.  The next time, you see a yellow house at the end of a lane and this one has a red door also.  Each time you dream, the house is different color but the door is always red.  What does that mean?  Is the door on the house God has for you actually red? Maybe.  Or is Holy Spirit telling you something else? Possibly.  Red symbolizes the blood of Jesus, so maybe you need to enter(front door) into " the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)  Or maybe the house is on Red Door Ave.  Whatever it is, Holy Spirit will let you know, just keep asking and waiting on Him.

The bible doesn't say how long God's Spirit brooded-it would be impossible to measure since it was before time.  For us, it my  take days, months and many times, years, for the dream God has for you, to "suddenly" happen.  God is interested in a relationship with you  and He loves going on this life's journey with you.  He is preparing you step by step to enter into that dream.  Enjoy the journey.

Choose two or three scriptures and study them, read them, meditate on them when you "brood" over your dream. The word of God is alive, powerful, and doesn't not return until it accomplishes what it was given to do.

In addition to finding scripture about your dream, you want to research it.  What qualification do I need, what rules and regulations do I need to follow, pray about joining a special interest group, take a class, etc.

God conceals the revelation of his word  in the hiding place of his glory.  But the honor of kings is revealed  by how they thoroughly search out  the deeper meaning of all that God says.

Proverbs 25:2The Passion Translation (TPT)

I encourage you to keep a dream journal.  Write down the dreams God gives you and make adjustments as Holy Spirit directs you.  Write down the scriptures you have and what you have discovered doing research on it.  This is a great starting point as you sit down to dream again the dreams God has placed in you.  This is all part of the brooding, dwell on it, meditate on it until is seems to fill your atmosphere.  Then you are ready for the next part.
